Practicum Journal (Week 4)

 On Monday, 5th October 2020, as I dressed in a formal attire, the day dawned crisp and clear. I went to the school by riding my motorcycle as always. After arriving school, I took a quick mentally warm up before went to 3 Zamrud for English and Pendidikan Kesenian class. I went to 3 UPM to start the lesson where they were learning new unit which was Unit 7. The class went pretty smooth and the kids love the activity but I'm still struggling to manage the exercise as I am always lack of time. On recess time, I took care of 1 Delima. I instructed them to follow the SOPs while they enjoying their meal.


    On Tuesday, 6th October 2020, I went to school with a sport attire. Likewise, before I went to the class where I need to teach them, I'll have a quick brief with my mentor, Teacher Syahiran. She gave me a go and the class I conducted that day went pretty well. In the morning, most of the Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 pupils attended the co-curricular activity but I was told to enter my class as usual because I got a class during that time. 


    On Wednesday, 7th October 2020, I took care of 2 Delima recess hour as I instructed them to eat their meal while following the SOPs. 


    On Thursday, 8th October 2020, my mentor want to observe my class with 3 Zamrud, she want check on me whether I am on the right track in teaching or not as instructed by GPK 1, Puan Rohayu. After finished the class, I met my mentor to do a post-mortem about the previous class. Gladly, she told me that she is very satisfied with the way I teach and conducting the class.


     On Friday, 9th October 2020, I didn't had class to attend so I used most of my free time fixing my logbook, correcting previous lesson plan.

 Week 11 of practicum in SK Seri Gemilang was conducted from home as it was still in the CMCO period and the school is closed until the end of the year. Although I didn't have to go to school, i did receive a timetable for the PdPR would be conducted. I only teach 1 class that 3 Zamrud. I teach the students by sending them tasks or exercises and also some notes or videos I try making through Whatsapp. So whenever before i gave the students exercises i will sent my materials to my mentor, Teacher Syahiran, for her to check and see whether it is suitable or not. Then the remaining days I tried searching materials to conduct the following's lesson as well as updated the blog for this week. (PdPR Schedule throughout CMCO)

Practicum Journal (Week 6)

 On Monday, 19th October 2020, I arrived the school early and prepared myself for the next upcoming  classes of the day. I used most of my remaining period at my seat settling the next lesson plan for the next lesson. Tuesday of 20th of October 2020, The morning was quite peaceful and breezy. My class with my students starts at 8.30am. Our topic of the day was about "Clock". I taught them on how to tell the time and surprisingly most of them can catch up with it very fast but they keep get confused with some new words. It's okay for me to put more effort in explaining towards something new and a bit confusing for them .I had no trouble on that part at all.  Wednesday of 21st of October 2020, I didn't have any class for the whole day so most of my free time were used for designing the next day's lesson plan. Practicum journal (Week 7)

 On Monday, 26th October 2020, I went to school likewise with my formal attires by myself. I had to classes that were need to be attended except for 3 Zamrud at 10.00a.m until 11.00a.m and after that 11.30a.m until 12.30p.m On Tuesday, 27th October 2020, after settling all my stuff at my own desk, I prepared myself before going to the first class of the day which was in 3 Zamrud. Tuesday's English class went smoothly. At 10.30 a.m., I went to 3 Nilam for a relief class which was only for an hour classes. On Wednesday, 28th October 2020, I didn't have any class to attend so I used so most of my free time fixing my log book, correcting previous lesson plan for my upcoming classes. On Thursday, 29th October 2020, my class should be started early on 8.00am with 3 Zamrud. Unfortunately, my class was postponed due to the birthday celebration of our beloved Prophet Muhammad SAW.
